Dear Neighbor,

As your State Representative, I have some simple principles. Leadership is earned, not bought or given. I will work with anyone who wants to better our community, our state, and our future.

Since you last elected me, I believe we have made real progress.

  • We passed the Student Success Act, making a historic $1 billion a year investment in Oregon’s K-12 schools, including every single school in our community.
  • We protected the health care coverage of 1.1 million Oregonians, while improving mental health care, tackling the opioid epidemic, and reducing the cost of prescription drugs.
  • We improved the lives of working families by establishing Paid Family and Medical Leave insurance, lowering income taxes for the middle class, and investing in jobs and economic development.
  • We also made progress on addressing Oregon’s affordable housing crisis, protecting tenants and creating more housing choices.
  • And of course, of special importance to me, we increased funding for services to our veterans.

I am humbled to serve you in the Oregon House. I ask for your vote, because there is much more for us to do.

Paul Evans. Our State Representative.
